Last night Boys Hope scholars and their mentors went to the Rockies game. A donor gave us tickets and money to buy treats. What a night! Jose Luis saw his first American baseball game. He is visiting us for the summer from the Boys Hope home in Monterrey, Mexico. And the Rockies beat the Nationals!!! […]
The scholars have started various summer school programs at Boys Hope Girls Hope of Colorado. Jorge, Luis, Jasmine and Stephanie are attending summer enrichment sessions at Regis Jesuit High School. The rest of the scholars are at the Boys Hope home where volunteers Stacy and Raka and staff are running summer enrichment classes.

St. Therese had their awards ceremony and all three of our scholars received awards. The scholars went to the Museum of Nature and Science with donated tickets from ArtReach. The museum has a special exhibit on lizards and snakes that the scholars really enjoyed. In these pictures they are being prey to an Anaconda —- yikes!
