Girls Hope
The Girls Hope home welcomed a new scholar this month. Alexis is a sophomore at Regis Jesuit and is adjusting to her new surroundings well. She joined the track team at Regis Jesuit and will have her first competition soon. Aaliyah, our other sophomore at Regis, will be starting tennis soon and continues to do very well in her classes and at her weekend hostess job. Stephanie finished up her basketball season with St. Therese this month and started taking voice lessons for the first time, which she is really enjoying.
Boys Hope
The scholars at the Boys Hope home continued with school and their other activities. All of the boys finished their basketball season with St. Therese and Regis Jesuit High School. Noah started doing track and Nealand injured his ankle, but is on his way to recovery.
The Boys Hope Girls Hope scholars participated in a service project this month volunteering with The Special Olympics. We also saw Gnomeo and Juliet together in 3D, and began attending a youth mass service at Church of the Risen Christ.
