Boys Hope Girls Hope of Colorado kicked off the summer with a reading competition and academic studies focusing on vocabulary development for the middle school scholars, Stephanie and Adan. We have two middle school scholar candidates, one for Boys Hope and one for Girls Hope, who are also participating in the middle school academics while they are having transition visits for the summer. High school scholars Aaliyah, Jesus and Nealand are working at jobs this summer, while Alexis and Noah are pursuing community volunteer opportunities. Regis freshman scholars, Andres and Darwyn are taking summer classes at Regis Jesuit High School. Noah and Andres are working out with the football team in preparation for the fall season. Darwyn will join the soccer team practices starting in August. The scholars are scheduled for various summer activities, sports camps and learning opportunities over the course of the summer. We have said goodbye to staff members who have been with us the past school year who are moving on to new adventures, while we say hello to the great new staff who are joining us. We have scholars participating in transition visits who we hope to welcome as residential scholars for the fall school semester.
