BHGH Scholar Andy Reflects on his time at Mesa University

This year will be my last year as an undergraduate student at Mesa University. I have met tons of people and made great friends as well as utilized my networking skills with in the University. It has been such a blessing to have an amazing support group. I have put a lot of time and effort to have an amazing experience here Mesa University and this last summer has been the best one yet.

I have met people from all around the world and I was able to go visit a friend in Hawaii. He was a friend I made through being an RA. Hawaii was the most amazing experience especially since I have never seen the ocean before. I have learned a little about the Hawaiian culture and what it means to come from such a humble place.

After my undergrad I will be pursuing my Master’s in education to be able to teach Spanish to high schoolers. I have been offered multiple jobs here at the University as a professional staff, however I am also thinking about going out of state and applying for jobs at different universities. I’m excited to see what the world brings, what opportunities may come in and see what God has planned for me. Thank you for all your support and I wouldn’t be able to make this happen without you all.
