My name is Roslyn and I am part of Boys Hope Girls Hope. I am the oldest child in a family of six, and I am also going to be the first college graduate in my family. Our financial situation hasn’t been the best for quite a while now so when I became interested in going to a private school, I had a feeling my parents wouldn’t let me go. So before I introduced the idea, I did my own research. While in the middle of my research, a group of people went to my school to give a presentation on their organization. That was when I found out about Boys Hope Girls Hope.
Since then, I was able to attend the school I wanted to go to, as well as meet new people in the program and make new friends. With Boys Hope Girls Hope, I have been able to do service work with my other peers, and I was even able to join Mandarin at Regis Jesuit! Boys Hope Girls Hope covered my indirect school costs, like an iPad, transportation, books, so all we had to worry about was the tuition. Regis Jesuit helped make that worry go away too. I am really glad I joined Boys Hope Girls Hope and give my eternal thanks to them.
