Throughout the
2023-2024 academic year, scholars completed over
1,954 hours of
community service!

This summer, Boys Hope Girls Hope of Colorado Scholars volunteered at the Assistance League of Denver’s thrift store! Scholars sorted and cleaned donated items, tested electronics and other donated technology, and helped price items for sale. The Assistance League of Denver’s thrift store is 100% volunteer run and is the main source of funding for the rest of the Assistance League’s work in the Denver metro area, we are proud to have partnered with them!

GIving back to the community is an important part of every Boys Hope Girls Hope Scholar’s experience as we commit to our mission, “To nurture and guide motivated young people in need to become well-educated, career-ready men and women for others.” In the 2023-2024 academic year, scholars completed over 1,954 hours of community service!

Some of the scholar’s community service is completed through Boys Hope Girls Hope coordinated service projects such as this day with the Assistance League of Denver, while other community service hours are completed by scholars individually.
