Amy Strickland, Senior Program Manager and Curriculum Coordinator
“I’ve always loved high school students and have worked with first gen students most of my career. I love the mission of Boys Hope Girls Hope and that I am not a traditional classroom teacher, but more of a coach and mentor. I am most proud of the relationships I’ve made with scholars and how I’ve been able to support them in attaining scholarships that make college an affordable reality. The scholars give me so much hope for the future. I see their perseverance, intelligence and compassion. They care about the world and genuinely want to make it a better place for their families and communities.”
